My wife and I sailed on the Gem for the first time ever. My Overall, the experience was great. We explore all 3 stops along the way, with the Great Stirrup Cay, being the best stop. The embarkation process was smooth, as well as the disembarkation, both at the ports and when we returned to New York, went flawless. I was amazed at how the crew was constantly cleaning the ship. Our balcony room allowed us to watch the sunrise in the morning, on our way down and sunset in the evening, on our way back to New York. The food was excellent, both at the main dinning and specialty dinning. With my wife being a vegetarian, she was able to find something to eat at all the dinning areas. There was plenty of entertainment. They offer everything from trivia, to adult game shows to late night parties. They had both adult only and family activities. The shows that they put on at night were entertaining. The crew was very pleasant and always helpful. I would definitely recommend this cruise and ship, as we are in the process of booking this cruise again next year.

Cabin was roomy. Balcony was definitely worth the extra money spent.
