Arrival at the port was early but our cases were loaded which left us quite a lot of free time in Amsterday (only a 30 minute walk from port to centre of Amsterdam).

Check in busy as you would expect. We were in cabin 3124. Cabin was clean and was well cared for during our 12 night cruise. We realised the air conditioning wasn't working, but to be honest, the weather wasn't that hot/warm so really didn't bother getting it fixed. Noticed that on this cruise the was not toiletries supplied but luckily I had taken shampoo and conditioner. No shower cap was supplied either. The entertainment could have been much better. Every afternoon there was a quiz in the Schooner Bar, very much suited to the American guests, which is unfortunate for any other nationality. One afternoon the quiz was about TV theme music, out of 20 questions we got 2 ! (We are from the UK), even the couple as the side of us complained and they were Australian!

The shows were very mediocure, a bubble show ! the back drop on the stage was black and the guy was dressed in black. There were 2 screens high up on either side of the stage, but these were terrible to view. There was a magician but we didn't bother to watch the whole of the show. The 2 best shows - Pete Matthews and Beatle Maniacs. Pete Matthews had the whole theatre in stitches and the Beatle Maniacs were the best tribute we have ever seen. We saw the original Beatles back in the 1960's and this tribute act was superb. In fact some nights we didn't even bother watching.

Kept very clean during the cruise.

Port Reviews

Amsterdam

Port to Amsterdam central only a 30 minute walk away. No need for a taxi.

Tallinn

Lovely little fishing port, clean and tidy.

Helsinki

Not too keen on Helsinki, we found it pretty boring.

Stockholm

Lovely place, lots to see and do. Easy to get around.

Copenhagen

Loved this place and will definately return for a 3/4 night stay.
