Long-time Princess cruisers, our first Transatlantic (five days after retiring!).

Embarkation at Fort Lauderdale was consistent with other cruises from this, our home port - chaotic, but pretty fast.

We settled in for a very relaxing seven-day crossing to Mediera. Weather was on our side despite the remnants of an early season tropical storm way out in the ocean. We used the pool (The Retreat pool), and enjoyed the relatively empty decks free of chair hogs and unruly children.

Cabin Review

Mini-Suite with Balcony

Royal has small balconies. Probably have to upgrade to their Club class nonsense for a decent cabin in the future.
