We chose this cruise as we had been before but this gave us different ports of call; Although the embarkation process was rather slow, and because the pick up car was so early this meant that we had over 4 hours to wait before we boarded. But from there on in the cruise was fantastic. We had a cabin on Deck 5 with a lovely picture window and we were more than satisfied with its size. The storage space was the most we have ever had both on land and on sea. The cleanliness was top class. The bed was so comfortable I could have taken it home. As far as dining was concerned we could find no fault with any of the restaurants. We used both Raffles and Waldorf and the food was fantastic and very, very well presented. The entertainment group was the best we have seen and the Theatre was easily comparable to that on the Queen Mary 2 which we went to Norway on several years ago. The activities were varied and there was something for everyone. I for one unearthed a hidden talent when I joined the Watercolour Workshops run by Nina. All the staff were polite and attentive down to a cheery good morning from the Captain when he passed me on deck. The ports all had something special to offer and the shore excursions reflected that. All in all a very enjoyable trip made even better by the fantastic weather. One wet day in eight you can't argue with that. Well done Cruise and Maritime and Well Done Magellan. You will certainly be top of the list if and when we cruise again.
