Cabin: Large Ocean View Stateroom

We chose this cruise for its destinations. We started the cruise at Venice after spending two days there on our own. We had an ocean view cabin on Deck 2 which fitted our budget and we were extremely satisfied with our cabin and its upkeep. We opted for My Time Dining in the evenings at the ship's main dining room and found the service very good. The food was good, not exceptional. Same with the other meals at the Windjammer where we had our breakfast and lunch.

We, however, felt terrible because we saw a lot of guests wasting food. There is a need to educate guests to value the effort made by the ship's crew and serve themselves only what they can consume. We live in a world where many do not get even one square meal a day and thus such wastage is an insult to humanity.

The coffee arrangements on board was good, but we would have loved it if we could get 'hot' coffee; the solution - at least one jug of hot milk could be placed alongside the coffee makers to cater for those of us who love hot coffee and tea.
