We have been on several cruises always on the Princess line. We really enjoy cruises both for the different destination but also for the time on the ship. Unfortunately this time we were very disappointed. The destinations were great. Embarking and disembarking were both handled well. Our steward was great and kept our cabin lovely and clean, supplied us with extra towels as needed and was very friendly. Unfortunately the cabins are smaller and feel smaller than Princess balcony cabins. The only upside was that I had booked a cabin with a larger balcony and that was a plus. There was as always on a cruise plenty of things to do or not to do. The shows were good. Bands and music a bit hit and miss. At times way too loud even sitting a distance away. We found not all the staff friendly. The Captain was very approachable but it didn't pass down the line. We had one great server in the main dining room for breakfast. We learned quickly to request to be on his side. The other side they were not friendly. Breakfast was not well served on that side. If you ordered cereal you could get your hot breakfast before the cereal, while you were still eating or everything at the one time. That is not good service. One morning the poached eggs were completely raw in the middle. This was rectified but with the original bacon which was then cold. We ate in the main dining rooms 3 nights. One night was good the other nights the food was tasteless and not appealing and again servers lacked personality. We ate 2 nights in East Meets West and the food and service there was good. We also ate in Cagneys Steak Restaurant and that was lovely. Great food and service. But unfortunately this did not make up for the service at other times. We will cruise again - definitely yes. Would we go with NCL - definitely NO!

Cabin Review

Large Balcony

Cabin B6

As I said above cabin was small. Bathroom very small and little storage for clothes. We did not find the cabin comfortable. The linen was okay but the bed definitely needed improvement.
