This was our second Transatlantic cruise and our first time on a Freedom Class ship. For eight days cruising at sea (losing an hour each day at noon) and a bit overcast/windy this time, we still found enough to do to keep us from getting bored.

We had the most wonderful Cruise Director (Michaelle?...not sure on the spelling) and his Activity Director (Jerry). Two new activities we had not experienced before and absolutely loved were the Celebrity Sea Chef (officers, including the Captain were the competitors) and Dancing with the Staff (just like Dancing with the Stars from TV, dancing with passengers) which occupied our sea days. Also, the ice skating show is always a treat! Our Captain was very friendly and very visable/approachable on this cruise.

Specialty Dining was great, My Time Dining was inconsistent in quality but it seems like the last few cruises have been the same way. As long as the overall cruise experience is fabulous, our vacation will be too. The service on this ship was consistently fantastic, and this is compared with over 25 cruises!

Cabin Review

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E3

Perfect mid-ship location except long walk to either elevator (it was OK though, we liked the exercise!). Size was larger than the Radiance E category, which worked out great.
