This cruise was a college graduation gift for our daughter, selected for its editerranean itinerary.
I was disappointed with the cabin because of the odd bathroom situation on the NCL Epic. We had our daughter and her friend with us and the sliding glass bathroom doors offered no privacy at all. Don't understand why they would have a bathroom without a real door on it!
Did enjoy having a balcony, would never cruise without balcony room or better. We had originally booked a family mini-suite but our on-line travel agent called me to offer me a "better" room. He suggested we move to the opposite side of the ship since we would have better shore views from there. He neglected to mention the room would be downsized from mini-suite to a balcony room about 1/3 smaller but for the same price! It took me a few weeks to realize we'd been switched to the smaller room. When I called to try to switch back to a mini suite I was told it would be an additional $300 (didn't I already pay for a mini-suite??!!) but by that time the ship was sold out and no mini suites were available. I would never use this dishonest travel agency again!
Hated the bathroom situation. No real bathroom door, just a sliding smoked glass door around toilet and another around shower. No privacy whatsoever!
