We choose this cruise because it was well-priced and the itinerary starting in Havana was a bit different than what other cruise lines had to offer. We flew to Varadero first, had a couple pf days in a wonderful all- inclusive resort. The transfer to Havana port from Varadero is about 2 hours, we arrived by the ship around 6pm. Very efficient embarkation, did not need to wait very long anywhere, not even for Cuban imigration in the port.

Our oceanview cabin on deck 7 was small, but clean and very efficient. The shower being very small did not bother us, but the shower curtain sticking to your legs while taking a shower is a bit of a pain, a glass door would have been nicer. Also they seem to have a plumbing issue, some nights in our cabin and also seen int in some public toilets, it takes a while to flush, or to put it more precisely the water does not stop flowing and before you know your whole bathroom is flooded. A few extra flushes solves the issue.

We wanted to have the beds separated so had to go to reception to get that arranged, they responded quite quickly, but they moved the beds 1 inch apart, did not really feel like two separate beds, so we did a bit of redecorating ourselves and moved the bedstand in between the beds.
