When we want to be spoiled rotten and treated like royalty... we sail Royal Caribbean! We sailed on Oasis of the Seas and WOW, was it "YUGE"! We sailed with friends and both had balcony staterooms, theirs overlooking the Boardwalk, ours overlooking the ocean. While some say they don't spend any time in the room and it doesn't matter, having a fabulous view while you ARE in the room is priceless. The room attendants are like magicians transforming your room multiple times a day into a tidy and welcoming haven from the hustle and bustle of activities all around the ship. We stayed in the aft section of the ship which meant getting to the bow took a good 10-15 minutes to traverse the almost quarter mile distance. But all the fun things to see and do along the way made it enjoyable even on day 7. I HIGHLY recommend the upgraded dining packages which provide some of the finest food you'll ever consume. You will NOT walk away dissatisfied! But be careful, they're always listening and if you secretly wish you could order TWO entree's they may just show up on your plate! The steaks in Chops Grille and seafood at 150 Central Park were some of the best my husband and I have had in our entire lives. The hot tubs were a nightly favorite of ours in the adults only Solarium. All the shows were terrific and accommodations were plentiful. Only one word of caution and that is to avoid the comedy show (unless they change). The one comedienne was simply vulgar and insulting to the ladies present. That was my ONLY negative on the whole trip. The food, service, entertainment and options for activities was endless. Although there were reportedly 6000 guests onboard, you never felt crowded or smothered. There are so many things to see and do on board, there was never any overcrowding situations that made you feel like it. ABSOLUTELY THE BEST TIME!!!

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D2

Slightly smaller than the one we had on the Freedom of the Seas, but equally sufficient. We did not lack for storage space and it was plenty enough for the time we were in the room. Great views and super attendant.

Port Reviews

St. Maarten

We did our own shopping and came on board for lunch, then went back to swim in the ocean. AWESOME!

San Juan

we were charged $10/person for a 1 hour tour. He gave us almost an hour and a half and an excellent tour of Old San Juan. He was very knowledgeble and we were just sorry we didn't have more time to explore more of Puerto Rico. We will DEFINITELY be back!

Labadee

We were here in Sept. of 2015... WOW! A lot has been added since then! Lots of improvements and interesting things to do and see. WTG RC!
