Wanted the experience of crossing the Pacific and this did not disappoint. The embarkation was a debacle but once on board the staff and crew really delivered. Kudos to Graham and his entertainment team that worked so hard for us on the many sea days. Some of the entertainment was terrible namely the juggling firemen (more suited to a kids birthday party than cruise ship entertainers) and the Elton John impersonator whom I had seen on another cruise and if anything his act has got worse. Please RCCL don't book him again the man has no talent. However we were treated to some excellent entertainers not least of which was the rock violinist and her husband. Two extremely talented people.

Captain Rick sang (badly) for us. As the saying goes don't give up your day job. He was very visible around the ship and very approachable. Our dining room staff were excellent, entertaining us with magic tricks at the end of our dinner, Rohan and Samuel great job! My room steward was attentive took care of any little requests I had, was visible without being intrusive.

The Diamond lounge and Concierge club coffee machines had long lines due to the number of Diamond, Diamond Plus and Pinnacle members on this sailing. RCCL should consider adding specialty coffees to the Seapass just like the complimentary evening beverages to alleviate this problem when they are aware of how many guests with certain tier status are traveling on a particular sailing. Just an observation.

Honolulu

Took a shuttle to Pearl Harbour. Spent the day at the visitor centre.

Maui

Not my first time here so went ashore twice. Once to shop and then have dinner at Bubba Gumps.
