This was the 7 night cruise from NYC to Bermuda. We were on the ship from Aug. 23, to Aug. 30, 2009. One of the nice things about being on this ship was most of the people on the ship were from the New York area. They were nice and friendly. We arrived at Pier 88 at 11 am. We had no problem checking in. We were Balcony so we were told to go to the front of the line. We had our room keys quickly. We were given number 58 to board the ship. I did not want to check any of my luggage. We carried our carry on size luggage on board. We were greeted with a glass of wine or orange juice. I checked our bags at Dazzles. They were very nice and told us to come back for our luggage at 2pm. We went to the Venitian for lunch. We then went to pick up our luggage. We had a Balcony room. I had a big bed and my son had a pull out couch bed. We had a very well stocked fridge. I told the Steward to empty it. The safe was confusing to work so I called the front desk and they sent someone up right away. He showed me how to use it. The room was too hot for me and they sent someone up right away to show me how to work the airconditioning system. We were supplied with two large beach towels, two bath towels, two hand towels, a bath mat and two wash cloths. We had no bar soap, only liquid soap. There was a dispenser with body wash and shampoo. We then had the Muster Drill.

On Monday The Cruise Critic had a Meet and Greet in the Star Bar on Deck 13. The Captain and Crew were there to take our questions. It was very nice to meet the Cruise Critic members. I met five new people.

The rest is very long. (I could not find spellcheck on this site so sorry about the spelling errors).

Cabin Review

Cabin BAL

We loved the balcony on the 10th deck fwd. We did feel the ship rock. We will get a cabin in the middle next time to feel less motion.
