We chose the Veendam for the itinerary. Boston to Bermuda with approximately 3 days in Bermuda and that it docked in Hamilton. For this primary purpose the Veendam did it's job.

To begin .. The cruiseport in Boston was easy to get to and embarkation went smoothly. Our cabin was ready and we had fantastic room stewards. We had a Neptune suite and it had one of the best floor plans of any ship we have been on. We were satisfied with our room, the service and the concierge lounge and the service there.

The Veendam is an older ship and yes it does show it's age. But, the various areas were, overall, in good condition. We did not have plumbing or A/C problems and found every public bathroom we used to be in working order. The casino was a good size and had newer machines.
