We chose this cruise because it was literally the only one that fit into our schedule after my son came home from college and before my daughter had a work obligation. 5 days was just the right length for this trip! And it left from Bayonne which is an easy drive for us. This ship is absolutely amazing and I highly recommend it!

The cabin was perfect! We had a "small balcony" on deck 11 aft and I thought the balcony was a pretty standard size, large enough for 2 chairs with foot rests and a table, with room to walk around the furniture. We spent some nice time out there. We had 3 people and my son thought the sofa bed was perfectly comfortable. The toiletries provided were nice and we all loved the shower. I didn't love the layout with the bed near the bathroom and the sofa near the balcony, we had to do a lot of walking around the bed to get to the living area. I had heard that this area of the boat can get a bit creaky, but we didn't feel that it was noisy or creaky at all, in fact it was very quiet, even with the storm we experienced on day 5 sea day.

The recreation and entertainment on board totally blew us away. We saw every show and they were all fabulous. The performers are so talented and the technology was awesome. We saw 2 Broadway-style musical productions, a technologically advanced cabaret, 2 late-night comedians, Rock the Boat band, and several musicians in various venues. Every one was excellent. Dru the cruise director was terrific, energetic and enthusiastic without being over-the-top.

I think half of the cabins are laid out the other way, and I think I would prefer that, I had heard that this area of the boat can get a bit creaky, but we didn't feel that it was noisy or creaky at all, in fact it was very quiet, even with the storm we experienced on day 5 sea day.
