We chose the Vista because it is the newest Flagship in the Carnival Fleet. Although I missed the glass elevators in the Atrium, the LED Display is quite beautiful and the decor is chic and clean. I found the public areas where they held events to be lacking in enough space to accommodate all who were in attendance. Those activities we joined in were difficult to enjoy because of this. It was extremely hard to see what was going on during activities held in the Atrium. The Liquid Lounge is poorly designed having too many seats with poor views of the stage.

The dining options were plenty and we enjoyed having so many choices. Guy's Burger was great as was Guy's Pig and Anchor BBQ place even though it was only open on Sea Days, it was a nice change. The Seafood Shack is a wonderful addition even though there is a charge, if you love seafood, and I do, it was delicious and we really felt like we were treating ourselves the day we had a late lunch there. We had breakfast twice in the Lido Marketplace, I never found anything really interesting to eat for lunch or dinner there. The Main Dining Room was terrific, service was great, food was hot and served in a timely manner and despite the fact that we had Anytime Dining and different servers the 3 nights we dined there, they called us by name each time which impressed me. Cucina Capitano was delicious, I purchased a bottle of Chianti which I was able to take with me and later enjoyed on the balcony with my husband. The Steakhouse was good and the portions were big, bring your appetite. JiJi's Asian Kitchen was a unique asian dining concept, I liked the duck but the wagyu shortrib entree was too heavily spiced for my taste and I couldn't eat it. We ate there on our last Sea Day for dinner and the seas were quite rough which made it difficult to enjoy the food. We did not try the Blue Iguana Cantina food. Pizza Pirate was a nightly midnight snack ritual that we never miss and always a delight.

Bar Service was good, especially at the Red Frog Rum Bar which was our Favorite place to get drinks(other than the Alchemy Bar). Lorena, Zena, Justyna, Zorica, Jade and Lindsdell deserve a shoutout for making our time spent at that bar so much fun! This was my first experience with the Alchemy Bar and I was excited to try it. Luciana and Marko did not disappoint. Not only were they entertaining and friendly, they really listened to what you liked and made cocktails just for you. I had a black cherry concoction that was absolutely delicious and I can't wait to get back on another ship with an Alchemy Bar so that I can ask them to duplicate it for me.
