I am a Platinum Member with Carnival and have cruised 16+ times. This particular cruise was good except my cabin was located right under the area where smokers go. ALL during the night, every sound is heard, especially the heaving walking of women in their high-heels. The loud scooting of chairs and etc were especially heard from 1:00 AM to 6:30 AM. I know smokers need to smoke, and nothing against them. The rooms need to be filtered with sound proofing. I paid for the single supplement (double pricing) and expected to get just a little rest. I never got any rest during the night for the whole cruise. :(

Overall, the cruise was great, the staff and crew members were excellent as usual, the food was good and loved the variety offered. Had my first "Guy's Burger" and it was great.(Yum-Yum). The entertainment was "off the chain" and very energizing. .It is truly amazing how Carnival tries to please the varying palettes of all the cruisers, and does a good job..

Do not use this cabin if you expect to get any rest. ALL sounds can be heard from above the room. After numerous complaints, it was discovered this room is located where smokers go during the night, all night long. Nothing against smokers, but the room needs to be filtered for sounds of walking, scooting of chairs, and etc..
