We chose this cruise for the itinerary but the food in the Aquarius Dining Room was tasteless for the most part, no seasonings! The menus lacked any enthusiasm. The first 3 days there were great choices but it went downhill from there, although the wait staff did a great job! The food choices in the Windjammer rarely varied, same things every day for breakfast and lunch with maybe 1 or 2 new items. The desserts were almost always the same. On Sea days there was little to no activities scheduled and the evening entertainment was the most boring we have experienced on any cruise line. The room was kept clean but on our first day when I tried to use the body lotion provided it was an empty tube, had to ask for more, same with the shower gel, it was a 1/2 tube, obviously they try to use all that they have but these items should be full when a new guest arrives, not the leftovers from the last trip. The bed sheets were so thin you could read the daily planner through them. Our room included a coffee maker but it was one that used single cup pods and they gave you packets for a machine that made 4 cups, the first time I tried to squash it in the holder the coffee ran out all over the top of the dresser area, luckily I noticed it or it would have ran into the drawers all over my clothes. There was a constant process of trying to upsell everything. The internet, although listed as the fastest at sea, was no better than the older version and much more pricey. After 2 days of not being able to get any connection I was finally able to talk to the Internet "specialist", who is only there 4 hours a day, he told me that it is because the internet is always trying to connect to a different satellite as the ship is moving. I asked if I was going to get a refund for the days I had no service (at $17.99 a day) and he said he would write a message to his boss and someone would get back to me, never heard from anyone and never got a refund. Will not waste the money on the service on any future trips. The ports were great although the process to reach the town areas involved long walks (at least 30 min. or more) and no free shuttles provided, most shuttle service was $28 - $40 per person. We have done many RCCL trips but I would never book on any of their older ships again if this is the way it is going to continue. Even Carnival is better than this ship.

Room was ok, noisy from the hallway, at night they kept the hall door closed to block most of the noise but other guests coming and going kept slamming it. Overhead noise since this floor is right under the pool deck. Older carpeting and fixtures, anything plugged into the outlets had to be propped on something because they were so loose. Has a nice deep tub which was great after a day of walking around to come back and soak in. Very roomy, even the bathroom is not your typical tiny space.
