This is our third cruise to date all out of New York 4-5 years ago on Carnival Victory to Halifax, Last year to Bermuda on Norwegian Dawn. We travelled with 3 other couples this time. Embarkation and Debarkation couldn't have been smoother. Our Balcony cabin while not overly roomy was quite comfortable and we enjoyed the use of out balcony. Our steward Gill and wait staffs at table 123 late sittings were outstanding. The cuisine was OK. A few outstanding meals and a few not so hot. That being said the regular dining room was far superior to the choices in the regular dining rooms on Norwegian last year. Yes the sail away seafood buffet was eliminated. We did not eat at the Crown Grill or Sabatini's as our cruise buddies did not. We ate Breakfast and lunch at the buffets. Nice choices and the grilled chicken from the poolside grill, the thin crust pizza and the morning waffle stations at scoops were very good. The entertainment was OK. Production shows were good. The comedian so so. I did have a blast with the hypnotist. With the exception of Saint Johns the ports were extremely pleasant. Arcadia National Park was breathtaking. This time we did not avail ourselves with any of the ships excursions and chose to book on our own. In Newport we walked around on our own. In Boston we walked and use the combination Bus and Harbor Tour in the Amphibious Bus. Not the ducks. One piece of advice for Halifax. Stay away from the Harbor Hopper tour! Our Narrator spoke so quickly and was unintelligible. If I had earplugs I would have used them.
