Sail Date: May 2017

First time sailing from Galveston. Flew into Houston the night before,, spent the night got a rental car. Seemed easier and was cheaper then doing Carnival transfers. Very nice port, clean and well maintained. Employees really seemed to know what they were doing. Easy parking and then rode the shuttle.

We had faster to the fun (fttf) for the first time and it was well worth it, will always do it from now on.. We by- passed the long lines and breezed thru, boarding the ship within minutes of arriving.

The ship was very clean, room was ready at 11 am because of fttf. (Faster to the fun) We had cabin 1002, outside window, big room for 3 adults (mom and 2 adult daughters)as far forward as you could go, just under the Captains bridge. Very quiet. Able to go outside on deck, no one around cuz no one seems to know its there and unless your room is that far forward, no reason for anyone to come there, great for us.
