First trip on my bucket list since retirement was always an Alaskan Cruise through the Inside Passage. As a youngster, my family traveled each summer, and a dream trip my father always wanted to take was to Alaska....we never made it back then, so I took his picture with me on this cruise, and off we went with two of my good friends to complete the travels.....

There was one minor problem at embarkation as some of us didn't receive numbered cards with our group numbers which would allow us to board by group. But it was solved quickly and we were in our cabin by 11:30. Once aboard, we were in awe of this beautiful ship and our very nice mini-suite on deck nine. Our cabin steward, Denis, was amazing in every way. He was attentive, available and had positive energy which helped to keep us going!!

The ship was in very good condition and was being cleaned continuously. The lounges, bars, specialized areas, and theater were well appointed and very nice. No complaints about any of the public spaces, as they were all nice.

Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin MD

Our cabin was clean, spacious, and the bedding was wonderful. The bathtub and shower were great and the toiletries were very nice. The towels were too thick, but the bathrobes were really really nice! The balcony was just a wonderful added attraction which afforded us many beautiful scenes!
