Sail Date: May 2017

Our initial experience was bad in that the cruise line failed to pick us up at the hotel for transfer to the ship, taking our luggage but leaving us behind and then just shrugging this off with no real apology or effort to make the situation right. We felt this was very poor handling of the embarkation procedure and we could have easily missed the cruise just because of the cruise lines sloppy handling.

We felt the cruise was greatly over priced and that the service, food and amenities offered were lacking for a cruise that cost more than a thousand dollars a day for each of us. The cabin was adequate but nothing extraordinary. The food was, for the most part, pretty ordinary and not up to what we expected for the price. We are veteran cruisers and have sailed with many lines, and would say as far as value received this cruise was a big disappointment.
