Embarkation and disembarkation were smooth.

Upon meeting our room steward, he asked us if we wanted morning or evening room service. I prefer the morning and evening service Carnival used to provide. Our room was clean. Beds, pillows and bedding were comfortable. The rooms were all insulated for sound. Outside of a couple of rude guests who did their best to wake up sleeping guests, we did not hear the sounds of the music played down the hall or on the Lido deck.

The chef did not put any effort into providing meals for vegetarians on this ship. All vegetable soups were made with chicken broth. The chef offered vegetable lasagna on the first night and eggplant parmesan on the second night. When I informed the waiter that I do not like eggplant and that I would be happy with something simple like roasted veggies on rice. He bought me a dish of boiled veggies, which included canned peas and carrots, two broccoli pieces, and four asparagus stalks and a cup of unseasoned rice. One waiter served me a dressing that contained bacon for my salad. The fourth night, the chef had a delicious quinoa dish on the menu as well as an Indian dish. I enjoyed both.
