I chose this cruise for its itinerary. Venice was wonderful and the Adriatic ports were oh so beautiful. The ship itself was old and dated and through the day the public lounges were SO cold. To the point of wearing a jacket! When asking at reception (which was a very ambient temp. I was told it was cold to compensate for people's body heat. That's would be ok when the lounges were full on an evening but empty through the day.
We had an outside plus cabin on deck 5 it was adequate for the needs of 3 adults.
We ate in the MDR on an evening. We did notice that the Filipino crew that we had on previous Thomson cruises appears to have been take over by Eastern European s. Not half as friendly as the Filipino s. To the extent that quite of them were quite surly. Indeed a fair number of the Filipino s left the ship in Dubrovnik at the end of their contracts. I have to agree with previous reviewer the service was definitely not so good. We also had to ask for a Wine waiter. Until we sat at the back end of the restaurant near the galley and encountered the lovely Roxanne. Wine waiter extrodinaire. Three nights running she new not only our order but also our room number. The food served in there was faultless good and varied.
Adequate very poor bathroom facilities
