This was our first time with NCL as well as the Haven! Everything was perfect! We stayed in the Haven 2 bedroom villa. Room 15104. The room had a master bedroom with master bath ( huge w/ double sink, tube, separate jet shower) another bedroom w/ small shower, living room, dinning, balcony, bar/expresso area. The room had tons of storage, From the first day with embarkation we had special VIP haven treatment. We skipped all the lines and was escorted on the ship. Haven has its own special area for dinning, swimming, hot tubs, sauna, top deck lounging, smoking area ect. The crew was amazing, It was like its own sanctuary. Our Butler Mark was wonderful. Our steward Ronaldo was amazing. I celebrated my 40th birthday on wed may 16th and the staff snag to me, decorated my room, Provided me with not one but 3 birthday cakes! Everyone i passed wished me a happy birthday, They made me feel so special! They also gave me a spa gift card!

We ventured off on other non haven areas and yes it is very crowded but the staff was always friendly and ready to help! We tried Savor and the Manhattan for dinner and they both were very good. The night we ate in the Manhattan the show Burn the floor preformed they were amazing! We seen Rock of ages(great performance if you love rock), Burn the floor was our favorite ( Best show at sea!), we seen second city in the headliners comedy club (great show). Spent a lot of time in the casino (very Smokey). Shopping was ok. They need a larger gift shop with souvenirs. Everything was pretty pricey. The atrium always has something going on we spent a lot of time there ( bands, games ect) we enjpyed the band c-notes, Fat cats was great. If you are younger and like dance music Bliss was nice (younger crowd 18+) spice h20 as well. The top pool deck was always packed, The smoking area was always crowded and smelled. My husband smokes and he wouldn't even go in. I could go on and on how wonderful everything was. Yes we did stay in the haven which made everything so special but we felt that even if we hs a regular room it would have been just as great.

New York is a little hectic. we stayed in the Hilton Garden Inn in Jersey and they transported us to and from the ship. When you disembark grab a porter to take your bags and you will get threw customs faster (we gave them $10 tip). Read more
