This was our first Diamond Class cruise and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Being Diamond meant speedy boarding in Baoshan. We took our carry-ons into the 270 lounge and relaxed while everyone else got on board.

Because we had our three children in an adjoining cabin, we asked our room attendant, Andy, to remove the divider between our two balconies and unlock the connecting door.

Andy took care of it right away.

Deluxe Obstructed Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin SD

We have sailed before, so we were ready for a smaller cabin. But this stateroom was perfect for us with ample storage. The balcony makes the room seem bigger. We enjoyed having the connecting door with the children. The design on the shower was innovative and spacious. We could look down on the open deck from our balcony, but never heard noise or had people looking up at us.

Andy kept an immaculate space for us. The bed and pillows were soft and comfortable. Great job RCCL!

Port Reviews

Shanghai

Go the Jin Mao Tower for dinner (reservations recommended). Be sure to dress up. We were amazed by the lighted buildings downtown. We took the tram that runs under the river (so worth it).

Nagasaki

We walked around downtown. Everything is pretty close to the port. The Glover House was interesting with the garden and the koi fish swam in a pool. Great views of the harbor and city with very low cost.
