We are experienced cruisers, it was our 24th cruise but the first with Princess. We love Celebrity but were ready for a change. Well, Princess is different than Celebrity bur equal, both have their strong points. The service was excellent : our cabin was always clean and the beds were exquisite and the sheets were changed daily. Our experience for dinner ( we had traditional) was excellent, the food was good, our waiter attentive, full of good recommendations, We also enjoyed the fact that they has regional specialties.

Everything was done to please the customers: We had trouble with the internet, the manager called us and found a solution. I has never experienced such a desire to please except on river cruises.

The ship had just been refurbished. It was nice but lacked the luxury of other ships. No big open spaces. The rooms are old fashioned, the bathroom very sad looking, the toiletries cheap. The buffet upstairs was just so-so, we preferred having our lunches at the Salty Dog ( good tacos), the pizza was uninspired( Slice). They turned a specialty restaurant The Crown and Grill to a free English Pub for lunch on sea days, excellent idea. The production shows were fabulous, something for every age and taste, however we missed the guest lecturers.
