A Family Honeymoon that fulfilled every expectation. Embarkation was long but expected with such a tight turnaround for the Gem. She is an impressive ship upon first sight for rookies and the hustle and bustle of the crew loading up and polishing made me eager to board.

Spilling into the Atrium was perfect as we were able to grab our first drinks on the highly recommended UNIVERSAL BEVERAGE PACKAGE and a bite to eat. By the time we finished, the rooms were ready! Pleasantly surprised as we had no idea what to expect, but it was bigger and easier to move around in than we had heard. I am 6'3" 300lbs so this might have been a deal breaker. But I had no issues with washroom spaces. Comfortable bed a small flat screen, fridgette and lots of drawers and cupboard space. Time to tour.

Layout seemed logical, lots of signage and staff always there to point the way. Ended up in the Spinnaker Lounge just as we were passing the Statue of Liberty. Wow. Other days looked in on the Bridge Viewing area, Bow Sun deck during docking at Cape Canaveral, A lively Basketball game, and the launch of a SpaceX Rocket Wow.
