We wanted to experience the biggest ship in the world. It really is a beautiful ship - very stable and calm - we hardly felt it move. We loved the track on the 5th floor and the shows especially "Mama Mia" is really good.

Dining room staff Oscar, Moses and Hardy (American icon) are great - very professional and they catered to our every need - thanks guys you all are the best. The food choices in the dining room are mediocre compared to Carnival and the time taken (average of 2 hours per meal is ridiculous). Long line-ups outside dining room and lines not clearly marked for those with reservations. Blond woman at American Icon receiving line is very rude and condescending.

Windjammer doesn't have enough room to accommodate all passengers and the constant voice requesting to clear out is annoying and takes away from a relaxing atmosphere.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D7

Excellent. Our steward Andrew is the best. Andrew worked very hard to anticipate our every need and was always available with a big smile. Our room was cleaned twice a day and he is very helpful in all aspects. Many thanks Andrew for looking after us
