I chose this cruise because I like lots of days at sea and think Celebrity does a great job on TAs. I also continued on to the Baltic on the ship and have booked Celebrity Equinox for July. My biggest complaint was the noise level on the ships with very loud music playing all day and late into the night throughout the ship making it difficult to have a conversation. The Suite restaurant had excellent service. All personnel were outstanding . I had been in this restaurant before and liked it very much but the menu this time titled dishes with such strange names it was hard to know exactly what you were ordering. For instance, what would you think "broiled salad" would be. There is it possible to order from the dining room menu as well as the restaurant's menu, I frequently did that. The waiters had to spend a lot of time explaining just what the dish was as the name did not give much of a clue. I booked the suite for the Lunae restaurant and Michael's Club spent much time in the latter. I also have elite plus so was able to use the Captain Club express breakfast which I consider excellent. Having done over a hundred cruise sand seen most of the shows, I did not go much for the late shows. The Silhouette did not have CNN but did have Fox News and to balance what they offer I think they should include CNN.The Captain on the Silhouette April 23 crossing was a good "comedian" causing people to look forward to every announcement he made and he was about the ship ready to talk to anyone. For elite and elite passengers the daily happy hour provides a great time to meet up with friends.

Cabin Review

Celebrity Suite

Cabin CS

Cabin excellent with large balcony and round window. Service excellent including butler. There is no place for other evaluation so I put it here. The music played all day and most of the night at a very high volume all over the ship. It was difficult to have a calm conversation anywhere on the ship and the choice of music was not for background purposes. Even Michael's Club often had loud music. The hard sell has increased on all the Celebrity ships I have been on whether for photography or for restaurants or shopping which disappoints me a bit. This was my 135 cruise on a variety of cruise ships large and small
