The Pearl is a nice sized ship and we enjoyed our full transit Panama Canal voyage.

The food was good enough that we both gained a lot of weight. If we had used the excellent fitness center perhaps the scales would have been kinder to us when we got home. There are a lot of dining options and that is a nice thing to have on a long cruise.

This is the first time I have had an inside cabin. The room is smaller than in other categories and there is less storage space. If I could do it over, I would choose an outside cabin. On the other hand, we saved money and we were not in the room much. A nice feature was the USB port on each side of the bed.

Cabin Review

Family Inside

Cabin I1

The room was in a quiet location. It was nicely decorated and comfortable although smaller than we were used to. Next time will book an outside room.

Port Reviews

Puerto Quetzal (Antigua)

We used the ship's excursion Antigua on your Own and had an very good guide on the bus. Then we had a private tour with Antigua Tours with Elizabeth Bell. The guide was excellent but there were no opportunities to sit. Antigua was more beautiful than I expected and at least 10 degrees cooler than the port.
