Sail Date: May 2017
Cabin: Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony
Parade on Deck 5
View from Junkanoo Beach in Nassau
Sun Deck on Deck 14. Great sail away spot!

We were not certain we would like this larger ship, but after the first day, we fell in love with Oasis of the Seas. Even though there were 6200 passengers onboard, the ship never felt crowded. Shows: All were good. Cats was my favorite! Need to read the storyline before seeing this show so you will understand. Dining: We only ate one meal in the Windjammer due to so many other complimentary dining venues. MDR food was good every night. Specialty dining: We only chose the Solarium and we were disappointed in food and service the night we dined there. My son and his fiancé dined at Sabor's twice for lunch and loved it. Staff: Our cabin attendant and waiters were excellent. Loved the Sun Deck for sail away! And also discovered many other spots to take in the beauty of the ocean, sunrise, and moonlight. Love the round couches in the Solarium to relax at night.

Nassau: Walked to Junkanoo Beach and enjoyed the beach. St Thomas: Took taxi to Magen's Bay. Good experience but rained some and tide was in so we couldn't enjoy the bay and beach as much as our last visit here. St Maarten: After reading great reviews, we booked with Bernard's Tours. Great choice! We were able to see both sides of this island, lots of great photo opportunities. We weren't able to stop at Iguana Farm due to rain and very stormy weather at Orient Bay. After stopping here and everyone shivering under shelter, our driver decided to leave this spot early. We then went to the French side and enjoyed a delicious lunch at Serrafina's Bakery. Very reasonably priced, too. After shopping for a while, we ended our trip at Maho Beach and experienced the planes landing and taking off. Lots of fun. Highly recommend this tour!

Loved this ship and all there was to do onboard! My only negative was the Bingo. Crew who worked the Bingo sessions were very low energy and did not make playing fun. I have always enjoyed playing Bingo on every cruise we have been on and was very disappointed in the Oasis crew at Bingo sessions. Instructions were not clear and newcomers were lost, very few jokes, no standing when down to last number....none of the fun things crew did on past cruises.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D2

Our cabin was nicely arranged and we had lots of storage space. Our beds were not separated but our cabin attendant corrected this immediately when asked. I was sharing a cabin with my son's fiance'. No problems with cabin. Loved the ocean view balcony.

Port Reviews

Nassau

We have stopped at this Port several times. This year, we chose to walk to Junkanoo Beach and just relax. We rented lounge chairs and enjoyed the water and shopped a little on our way back to the ship. Last year, we did RCCL's Rainbow Reef snorkeling and loved this shore excursion. Reasonably priced too.

St. Maarten

We booked Bernard's Tours after reading the great reviews and we were not disappointed (except by rain). We toured both sides of the island with great photo opportunities but missed the Iguana Farm due to rain and only stopped briefly at Orient Beach due to storm. We weren't able to enjoy this beach at all but it looked beautiful from the covered shelter we stayed under to escape the storm. We loved Serrafina's Bakery on the French side and the stop at Maho Beach. Driver (Mailman) provided lots of interesting info on the Island. Highly recommend this tour!
