Sail Date: May 2017
Cabin: Havana Cabana (Balcony)

In Oct we ran into Hurricane Matthew and didn't make it to Carribbean! So with an extra incentive from Carnival we decided to sail on the newest ship The Vista and treat ourselves to a Havana Balcony.

It will be hard to go back to a regular balcony! The Vista is a large ship but easy to get around. Nice to have the promenade deck on deck 5 where we were. You could walk outside the whole ship. Having Havana we had our private patio and use of 2 hot tubs and pool plus bar. It was great. Staff meet all our needs! Never a problem getting drinks, water and coffee from Havana bar. Breakfast served daily at Ocean plaza. Lunch and dinner at taste bar. Guys Pig and anchor right outside Havana area! Red frog pub also close. (Recommend pub tour on sea days. Price made up for by all the beer!)

Stayed night before cruise at Marriott in Boca rotan. Not a bad drive in traffic.

Cabin Review

Havana Cabana (Balcony)

Cabin HE

Loved our Cabin. Lots of room. Nice to have usb plugs to charge phones etc. Great patio space. Loved the swing chair! The recliners a little to slanted for us but our great cabin steward Alicia brought us another chair to use.

Great to have hot tubs and pool for such a small group. Even after 7 it wasn't bad.

Great location! We hardly left this area! Breakfast at ocean plaza at taste bar. Lunch at Pig and Anchor. Drinks at Havana bar or Red frog. If I wanted coffee it was close at Java blue or Havana bar. Dinner reservations for my time dining beside Java blue. Never waited.

Pizza at night! Quick elevator to 10 then back to our private area!
