We recently sailed the Imagination - 4 day Miami, Key West Cozumel, our 3rd cruise with Carnival. I must start by saying how much I absolutely loved the layout of this ship. Lots of areas to be outside, I especially enjoyed the tables outside the Horizon grill to the side and the rear of the ship. As usual there were some smokers who thought because they are outside they can smoke anywhere but you get that on any cruise.

This was our first 4 day cruise (other 2 were 7 day)and our first without a balcony (really missed the balcony!!). As expected with a 4 day the selection of food on this ship was less but I felt the quality was as good as on the Legend and Glory. I was very disappointed with the cleanliness of the Horizon grill - tables were always dirty (dishes usually cleared away but rarely wiped down).

There were 3 of us and they sat us at a table for 3 in the dining room which we really enjoyed. We expected to be put at a large table with other guests. Read more
