Cabin: Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

This was our first time on the Oasis class ship and while skeptical at first we were totally surprise as to how great this ship is. Never felt crowded even though there were just under 6,000 passengers and close to 2,000 crew members. Many places to chose to eat so much different entertainment for all interests. We had a balcony room 11 floor which we prefer looking out to sea than into the ship. Our Room attendant was excellent always very helpful. We did not like the 5:30 sitting time for dinner as it is just a little too early but we had a great time with the three other couples, all Diamond members, at our table. Wait staff were outstanding. Schooner Bar with Lester signing is where we closed each night with late night singing along, dancing and drinking. Great way to close the day! We ate in the Solarium for breakfast and lunch (excellent buffet with same general food as windjammer) most days and dinner in main dining room. The Cats performance was somewhat lacking but all the other entertainment was excellent especially the piano playing in the schooner bar, Ice show, comedy shows, and the performance of the Aqua theater swimmers and divers. While we are Diamond members with a separate line, getting on board took a little more time than normal due to getting through security. We arrive at port around 11 and it took us over 30 minutes to just clear security with long lines. Getting on board was less than 5 minutes once we cleared security. Leaving the Ship was a breeze took less than 10 minutes leaving ship and picking up bags. We parked at port so it was very easy leaving.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D2

Do not reserve 11250 as this room is somewhat smaller than Superior D2 balcony. Royal Caribbean should not advertise this room as a D2 category. This room is connected to a suite next door. We did not mind since we were never in the room other than to change and sleep, however, others it might be a problem.

Port Reviews

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

We drove from Atlanta and parked at Port Parking Deck. Very easy and convenient.

St. Thomas

We took a $4 taxi into the main shopping area on St. Thomas. Very easy to do all transportation right at port. Easy to pick up a taxi when finished with shopping.
