My review will be about comparing Norwegian Cruise Lines (NCL) to Royal Caribbean (RCI) since our major experiences are with RCI. NCL used to be our go to line, but after a few RCI ships, we chose to stay with them.
This cruise was with family and friends, and honestly, we had a wonderful time, however this ship is lacking in some very important details and/or excel and I will highlight those. Of course, this is just my opinion, and others will feel differently I am sure.
THE ROOM: Nicely colored, with beige, browns, relaxing. However, no drawers to put anything in, only shelves in a closet you can’t access without being a contortionist. Seriously, who designed this? The couch is in the way, and you have no way to get to your clothing, COMPARISION, loads of closet and drawers and nooks on RCI. Bathroom, however much nicer on NCL, larger shower, nice. All in all, the rooms on RCI are much better design. Standard balcony size 4x8. We were midship, 10850. lifeboats are under us, but not awful as far as blocking the view. POINTS GO TO RCI
