Service was great is most areas of the ship, but the quality of the food in the main dining room was very average - one or two good meals but the vast majority mediocre at best. Speciality dining good - Chefs table a real treat and Chops Grille good too. Overall the destinations were great - a super way to see so many places, but the ship is a little tired. It needs a bit of a revamp. Staff in the main very good, so the service made up somewhat for the lack lustre meals / rooms. We upgraded our drinks packages to deluxe and found them a bit tight - couldn't order 2 drinks together each which can understand for alcohol but they made us wait 5 mins before ordering an orange juice and a coffee at breakfast in the main dining room which seemed ridiculous. Only other thing to mention is the hard sell you get everywhere the first few days - the waiters at your dinner table, people approaching you in the lobby etc to get you to buy packages for the restaurants and upgrade drinks etc got very annoying - they were even selling to you before you boarded and whilst you were sitting enjoying a quiet coffee.

Cabin Review

Grand Suite

Cabin GS

Bit tired - kids slept on a bed settee which couldn't easily be put up or down (broken mechanism) so we ended up leaving it up the whole time, Lots of finishings and furnishings were tired and needed replaced. Very dusty round the aircon unit but clean enough otherwise.

Port Reviews

Venice

What is not to like?

Rome (Civitavecchia)

Super city - beautiful but far too much to see in a day - deserves a long weekend easily.

Nice

Lottos options from Villefrance port to go via train either down to Cannes, or to Nice, or Monte Carlo as we did. Fab

Kotor

Class place - really beautiful.
