We chose this particular cruise due to the itinerary. I knew the Constellation would be undergoing a refurbishment immediately following this cruise and it does need a facelift. We were on Deck 8 in cabin 8072. This was my second Celebrity cruise in 6 years, have sailed on Carnival and Princess during the six years. I sailed on Celebrity Solstice 6 years ago and expected some differences due to the different class of ship, but there was a vast difference. We had some unexpected poor weather which brought everyone indoors so there was not enough interior space for everyone. Also, I felt the food was not very good, even in Ocean Liners. I wanted to try a Ocean Liners since it was being removed and I had heard great things about it. Maybe because it was the last night it was open, but there was only one dish served that I thought was good. I can't even remember what I had to eat there. We did eat at Tuscan Grill and service and food was so much better. I'm not sure I will choose Celebrity again. I am going on a Panama Canal cruise in 8 months and will be cruising on Princess. I did like the lunch in the main dining room the day of departure. Embarkation and disembarkation went smoothly. My room steward was great. Some of the servers; I.e. in Cafe El Bacio, should have stayed home....they weren't rude but not friendly, one in particular. We had select dining and every server we had was good. I did my own shore excursions but did one excursion through the ship, it was fine but the excursion leaders need to be reviewed since I think they could have been better.

The cabin was fine. I didn't like that the bathroom backed up to the ship hallway so you could hear every time someone flushed the toilet.
