We have wanted to cruise the Chesapeake for sometime. This trip was very informative as we learned much about the history of colonial America & also much about the history of the seafood industry that is there. The brand new Constellation is a beautiful ship and the crew & staff could not have been better. Maximum capacity is 160 passengers, which is nice & you get to know your fellow cruisers. The cabin was roomy and we never felt cramped or crowed when in our stateroom. The meals were excellent too. Shore excursions were enjoyable, as we had the opportunity to go to some smaller places like Crisfield, Tangier Island, St. Michael, etc.. We like American Cruise lines because it is for a more mature, discerning cruiser. There are NO families with lots of small children running all over the place playing & yelling. We will be traveling with this cruise line again.
