I chose this cruise as a first time cruise experience. My boyfriend and I went to get away and it was the perfect time for a trip due to our work and my graduation time. The cruise was horrible. I kept trying to tell myself that it was just me- me not enjoying a cruise atmosphere. But I was wrong! I am still thinking about how horrible it went. The food was definitely a let down. The first day the taco joint was actually really good, so I was excited. The dining room and buffet was terrible. After talking to many people the only edible food is from Guy's Burger and the Taco Stand. To make this more clear, I would be throwing up 15 minutes after trying food from the buffett- no i was not motion sick.

When we got on the ship I could not believe how tiny the pools were. I know this sounds nuts- but you would laugh if you saw them. They were smaller than my bedroom, about the size of their hot tubs. One pool had green water appearing like a swamp. The waterslide was also swampy. Both were closed at the start of the cruise. It was disgusting. A major turn off. Also- the mini golf is old and run down, a joke. By the end of the cruise there were no balls left to even play- I was desperate to find something to do.

There was a sewer smell throughout 3-5 floors fwd. It was disgusting. Do not choose the first embarkation time- Why? Because your luggage will not arrive until late at night. I was on the boat for 8 hours with no luggage. I guess that was my fault for not thinking how slow they would be. The boat is cramped and hard to get around.

The room itself was mediocre. I cannot complain about the cleanliness of the bed. The bed was comfortable enough and my room got cleaned twice a day. The two small beds create one large bed. It is definitely old and nothing fancy. The bathroom is tiny. No fridge. There is a slight odor around the bathroom toilet- same odor I smell around parts of the ship. Overall- the room was the least of my complaints. Unusual right?

Best part of my trip! Walked to beach from bus stop. Ate authentic meal and strong margarita! Had a wonderful time. You may want to travel in a group of 4-10 just in case. They definitely speak less English than in cozumel.
