Cabin: Inside Stateroom 9

Despite some negative comments about Celebrity and the Constellation in particular this cruise was far better than recent Princess cruise experiences. Yes the ship is going in for a refit (just like they all are these days) but it was in reasonable condition and clean.

Cabin was functional but the TV programmes offered were appalling, out dated.

Yes, the drink prices were over the top but the two hour half price "Happy Hour" was good value but limited in what was available. The library was struggling with the concept that books make up a library not empty shelf space.

Inside Stateroom 9

cabin was at best functional but we have been in worse.

Port Reviews

Muscat

had a wander around town and the market with a little shopping

Athens (Piraeus)

Always a fabulous port to visit with close proximity to Athens. Lovely cafe's and nice little market and shopping area. Train to Athens not too far from the dock. Had an enjoyable lunch in Piraeus with local baklava and coffee.

Abu Dhabi

Just ghad a tour of the city, very impressive.

Katakolon (Olympia)

Just catch the local train to Olympia and check out Katakolon when you return Train ran 10-30AM and returned trip at 2-00PM for a 45 minute ride for 10E return. A fabulous day out and make sure you have a coffee and snack in Olympia.
