Cabin: Inside Stateroom 9
We were searching for a place to visit in the Middle East and found this cruise. We booked the cruise about two months before sailing and there were only inside cabins available.
We boarded the ship in Abu Dhabi. The embarkation was very fast and our cabin was ready when we board the ship.
Disembarkation in Rome was very fast and all our luggage was in one place.
Cabin Review
Inside Stateroom 9
The cabins was small. We were able to unpack our luggage and store all our clothes and other items around the cabin. We were able to store all our toiletries on the shelves in the bathroom. There was a small sink and shower in the bathroom. Our large pieces of luggage were stored under the bed. There was plenty of room in the closet for hanging clothes. There was limited draw space for folding clothes. There were a few small cabinets around the cabin with shelves that small items could be stored. The one small table/desktop held a laptop and toiletries with a chair. One small table and a two seater couch. There were two end tables at the head of the bed with small double drawers.
Port Reviews
Muscat
Hop on hop off tour of the city. Some stop were just a viewing area with no facilities around the stop. Other stops were just for picture taking all the government building are closed to visitors.
Abu Dhabi
We didn't spend anytime in Abu Dhabi we travel from a hotel in another city to the port. We noticed some of the building the traffic light controls on the way to the ship. In other parts of the Emirates traffic circles are used in place of the lights.
Athens (Piraeus)
We took a hop on hop off tour of the city. Stopping at all the historical sites.
Katakolon (Olympia)
The tour was very good. Katakolon is a small port and there are plenty of independent tours outside of the port area. There are small shops and restaurants in Katakolon.
