We chose this cruise for two reasons. One was because we enjoyed the cruise down the Danube so much the previous year. The other reason was because we love France and this was a delightful way of seeing new places and having the luxury of excellent guides. The ship was beautiful, sparkling, clean and had every convenience you could wish for.The standard of service could not be faulted. The food was excellent and the service was immaculate as well as charming. The cabin was perfect for us, beautifully cleaned once a day plus an extra evening visit to renew towels if necessary and turn down sheets. The view from the full length window was a joy except when we were double docked. We had an amazing trip to the hospice at Beaune, a visit not to be missed. It was very wet when we went but the town was fascinating as well. The other outstanding trip we made was to the the Roman aqueduct "Pont du Gard" and the town of Uzes near the source of the river Gard. The aqueduct was stunning.
The only bad part of a truly wonderful trip was being dumped at the airport to start our journey home. We were dropped a very long way from our terminal in the torrential rain with luggage, and had t find our way across airport roads, up and down curbs etc.
Very clean. Excellent use of smallish space. Room for hanging clothes, plenty of drawer space and room to stow cases under the bed. Very well designed.
