We like the Transatlantic cruises with the multiple sea days. The ship is lovely and there always seemed to be places you could go and read quietly. The cabin was a good size with ample storage space. Our cabin attendant was very nice and helpful.
Eddy the Cruise Director was excellent and the Captain was wonderful. apparently he is well known for being involved with the passengers. He was going on vacation right after our cruise. Embarkation went very smoothly - we were Concierge Class and I think that helped a lot. Disembarkation was good - mainly because a very helpful crew member kept us informed about the length of the lines. One of our party has trouble walking. I did experience long lines coming back from the excursions and I am not sure why this happened. I have not experienced it before to that extent.
We took shore excursions in Bruges and Le Havre and they were good. My friends were left behind in Bruges but managed to get a taxi back to the ship. The guide did not count properly.
