We went on a cruise to the western Carribian with stops in Cozumel, Belize, and Isla Roatan on the Carnival Freedom. Boarding was so easy this time we were on the ship in less than half an hour from the time we arrived at the cruise terminal. Since we booked a suite, we received priority boarding. I cannot tell you how much we loved our cabin. It was huge! Closet space enough for the worst clothes horse and room to spare. The bath had a jetted tub, and two sinks. It was at least half again as large as the standard bath in other cabins. The bed was very comfy, and there were more pillows than we usually need. The cabin also has a vanity/dressing room with 5 drawers and a lighted makeup mirror. The balcony was the standard size for this class of ship, and we used the heck out of it. Cozumel had great shopping as always. Belize was very neat. Tender service was great, but getting to the tender was a mess. They had set 15 minute groupings to board the tenders, but did not follow the times given. While in Belize, we took the city tour and went to Alta Hun. The bus ride was not comfortable at all for anyone over 5 feet tall. Alta Hun made the discomfort worth it tho. Our guides were very knowledgeable and made sure we had plenty of time to explore on our own. It was very hot, and they made sure everyone got cold water before and after the tour. Make sure if you go to take a hat! We only checked out the shopping at Mahogany Bay on Isla Roatan. Neither one of us enjoy going to the beach. Very pricey.
Wow! Won't be going back to a balcony room. We were totally spoiled by this cabin.
Great shopping
