Thanks to this site, I found many great suggestions/hints for my first cruise on the Celebrity Summit to Bermuda. I did take 3 large Fiji water bottles for room (used 2, even tho I had beverage package). Took clips to dry my suits on the shower line. Took backpack for shore excursions/ last night of cruise. Took marker to highlight shows/activities I wanted to attend. Asked room attendant for egg crate for mattress first day. Now for the review (keep in mind this was my first cruise).

We stayed in Oceanview Room 2001, it was the last room in the forward section. We had thought about a balcony, but we went the first week of May and decided it may not be the weather for a balcony, so why spend the money? It was a very wise choice! The room we had was VERY quiet, no noise from either side or above. The room and bathroom were spotless, looked updated. Upon entering, closets on left/bathroom on right. Bed is against wall on right, desk and small coach under window. It was just myself and husband (60th birthday gift) in this room. We drove to port (no air travel involved), which means we both packed way to much! There was more than enough closet/drawer space. I took over the desk, used as my hair/ makeup area, he took over the bathroom space. I would take a shower, head to my space and then he would have the bathroom/closet area. It worked out well. The only night we felt motion from the sea was the last night due to high winds. It did not bother either one of us

Our package included drinks and onboard credit. We used the credit to upgrade drink package and 4 specialty dinners. I did not know there were only two specialty restaurants, so not sure I would do that again. We tried Q, which was great, but tapa's just don't do it for us. We went to Tuscan 3 times and were extremely happy (we are Italian from East Coast and felt this was an authentic Italian experience). The rest of dinners were spent in main dining room and again, no complaints. Food/service were wonderful.

Bayonne (Cape Liberty)

Cape Liberty was an easy access port. Plenty of parking, short walk to terminal from garage.
