We were looking to make our second cruise with Royal Caribbean after enjoying an Alaskan Cruise five years ago. The Majesty of the Seas did not disappoint. The galley tour was nicely done. The food and service excellent. We were on Deck 9. Rooms were decent, but the mattress unusually hard. Very hard! As far as shows they were good and entertaining. The solo act with Jimmy Hopper not as much, but the RC band was fantastic! The "Love and Marriage" final show was very funny and brought in packed house.

Excursions:

Coco Cay beat our expectations. The shops were typical stuff, T-shirts and logo'd items (I do not believe these were locally made at all, China?), but the real draw here was the fabulous lagoon and the bungalow we reserved. We saw tons of fish, stingray, and iguanas on the nature trails. I must mention great service by the staff to replace a meal that fell off a table. An RC staff member brought a replacement in minutes.

Cabin Review

Ocean View Stateroom

Cabin G

Cabin had a porthole window. The bed as noted was very hard. Room was well cleaned and maintained. The refrigerator was cool, not cold but adequate. There appeared to be plenty of storage for clothing and suitcase storage. Closet easily handled items on hangers. The TV was passable but tiny. Some plumbing issues, but these were resolved Day One, and appeared to be common due to the ships age.
