Booked back to back cruises on the Jade out of Tampa. First leg Western Caribbean, second Transatlantic to the UK.
Nice ship that was easy to get about. Pool area was excellent and space always available. Cabins were good, staff throughout the ship friendly and first class. Food perhaps the best we've had on NCL (we dined mainly in speciality restaurants but free options also very good). The buffet after 21 days became tedious and we never visited it in the evening. By-passing breakfast &/or lunch became our routine.
Each of the specially restaurants were equally good, maybe not as impressive visually than the newer bigger ships, but certainly better food, especially the meat dishes. The Jasmine Chinese was included for all and in our view better than the Teppanaki which carried fees.
I have reviewed this to give warnings to others.
It is beneath the buffet. If you are a light sleepier it is a BAD choice. You hear what sounds like the muted approach of a tube line train numerous times during the day (and from 5am daily)...
We also stayed in cabins 8076 & 10611 an obstructed Oceanview and Interior when worked fine. 10611 was small so we needed to separate the beds. Each room had adequate closet space.
