Repositioning cruise is a great value and a fabulous itinerary with San Francisco and Victoria stops. We only had to purchase one-way flights home since we were able to embark from our local port of Los Angeles. I don't need a bikini, binge-drinking cruise at my age so I enjoyed the cool, northwest climates. Although, we had very nice, warm weather on our excursion days.

We could not believe the menus and the food offerings. They were tremendous. We chose the Unlimited Dining Package to take advantage of the discount on three specialty dining restaurants: Moderno, Le Bistro, and Cagney's. Each one was fabulous with unbelievably delicious choices and the best service possible. We have been boasting ever since we disembarked. We felt a little like royalty in Tsar's Palace with the Salmon Benedict!

We truly enjoyed the musical entertainers, especially Lisa Volk on piano and R. R. on guitar. The Cirque de Bijoux was particularly impressive with the singers, dancers and acrobatics. We were touched by the staff filling the stage and theater, and then lining the hallway afterward. I know they must do this every week, but man, I'm a softie.

Our balcony view was delightful. We were very far forward and on the starboard side. Going North, we saw EVERYTHING coming into ports. (I suppose going South, you would want the port side?) We watched the City of San Francisco appear early in the morning, then sat and drank coffee on the balcony in our NCL robes. We docked at Pier 27 and for the day, had a deluxe apartment in the sky, overlooking Coit Tower and the TransAmerica building. Unbelievable. I liked the bathroom set-up and we had tons of storage (under the bed and in all the drawers, shelves and lighted closet.
