Ship and cabin were amazing. Had a balcony cabin on 13th floor and it was very nice. Service was great also. Entertainment was superior. Here is the problem, the food in main dining room was below average -- so bad that we skipped a night because we would rather eat pizza at Sorento's. Every time we turned around, we were asked to pay more and go into the specialty restaurants. Well, gosh, I thought we already paid for 4 star meals in the main dining room. I was wrong. Out of 11 cruises, the food on Anthem in the main dining room was a disappointment.

As an added disappointment, the new room service delivery charge of $ 8.00. Now I understand if you are trying to prevent kids from ordering food at 2 am however I was really taken aback by the charge. Other cruise lines have added a charge after midnight which I completely understand. We had just sailed in January 2017 on Liberty of the Seas and there was not a charge. It was nice to have breakfast on your balcony in the morning and we always gave our person a nice tip however this may be an extra expensive some may not want to pay. Just like the specialty restaurants.
