Cabin: Deluxe Veranda 2A

This was our 2nd time on Celebrity - first time on the Eclipse and Solstice class ships. Here are my thoughts by area -

Embarkation - we arrived at the Southampton port around 1:30pm - easy check-in and we were on the boat within 20 minutes or so - one of the quickest check ins we have ever had.

Ship - Grade A+

Deluxe Veranda 2A

Cabin 2A

We have traveled on several lines now (Disney, Celebrity, Princess, Carnival) and found this cabin to be one of the best layouts. The biggest plus was the ample closet and many storage places around the room which allowed you to put away most of your luggage during the week. The location on the ship was great- just a few steps down to the atrium elevators in the middle of the ship - easy access to all areas of the ship. View from the balcony was good - just slight obstruction when looking aft due to the "bump out" of the Eclipse design.
